We do events - from one of the largest events at the Millennium Galleries and Winter Garden for the region’s Creative and Digital Industries, to an exclusive Champagne and dinner evening for 70 directors at The Walnut Club (Hathersage), to putting on a gig with Oliver/Dawson Saxon outside Sheffield train station for over 500 rockers.
We do PR – as part of WasabiSabi’s 5th Anniversary party, we got them a double page article in Profile magazine, plus event coverage in The Star Business Monthly and Westside magazine; we organised a James Bond Gyrocopter press day for Spice Yorkshire and got great press coverage in Leeds, York, Scarborough and of course Sheffield; and even Warp asked us to help out with the local PR for their Warp20 (Sheffield) celebrations.
We do marketing - as well as having a Business and Marketing degree, plus a Post-Grad Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ben Duong, the founder of The North, spent over 8 years in London working at agencies such as Livity, bd-ntwk, and Crayon, and on client accounts such as O2, Coca-Cola, BT, and Eurostar.
