To quote from the Good Food Guide: ‘…the city [Sheffield] is developing a reputation for food with some very good, affordable restaurants; we’re delighted that one of them has won this award. Kitchen certainly is the pick, noted for its good portions of unfussy food at highly attractive prices.’
The menus, which were specially devised by head chef John Parsons, featured some of Kitchen’s most popular dishes from over the years including ‘Roasted Cod Cheeks with Chorizo’, ‘Butter Nut Squash Tagine’, and ‘Slow Cooked Smoked Ox Cheek’. Customers at the evening event were greeted with a Champagne reception, canapes and a special 7 course taster menu.
