We started off 2013 with new client Daniel Schofield, a Furniture and Product Design graduate from Sheffield Hallam University.

Already this year he has shipped eight of his Department tables to be sold at upmarket department store Lane Crawford in Hong Kong, which will part of their Spring collection. And this week at the Interiors UK, he won the New Design Britain Award 2013 in the Furniture category for his ‘Shifty’ table.

We got Daniel a mention in the Sheffield Star both for the Lane Crawford story, and for the New Design Britain Award within the space of a few weeks.

Based on the marketing work we’ve done for WasabiSabi, we were asked to manage the launch PR and branding for a new Vietnamese restaurant (also on London Road in Sheffield).

With the name Little Hanoi we came up with a suitable logo which works well across all mediums including the main signage and menus. We also commissioned Sarah Abbott to come up with an illustration for the client – this can be seen on all the staff t-shirts.

For the opening, we organised two launch events inviting up to 120 people total. Guests enjoyed being the first to sample the food in canapé form as well as having a first look at one of the karaoke rooms.

We’ve also help Little Hanoi set up a Facebook page from which you can see more photos from the launch parties – click here.

We will be moving on to work on their website and any future advertising and PR requirements.

Details: Little Hanoi, 216-218 London Road, Sheffield, S2 4LW. 0114 258 3836.
